The girl and the apples

The girl and the apples is a small story that I read one of the social networks that I used to visit. I liked it a lot because in a simple way it shows how even the people closest to us let themselves be carried away even for a moment of prejudice.

The prejudice is to judge negatively without having complete knowledge of a person or situation. Unfortunately nowadays many people get carried away by it, causing misunderstandings and even breaking friendships or relationships just for the simple act of acting on impulse and not listening to the others' version. That's why I share with you this small but very inspiring story:

A girl had two apples in her hand

His mother approached him and asked his daughter if he would give her an apple

The girl quickly bit one and then the other

The mother felt how her smile froze and tried not to show her disappointment

But the girl passes him one of the apples and says:

"Take Mommy, this is the sweetest one"

No matter how much experience or knowledge you think you have, never make judgments. Offer the other the opportunity to give an explanation. What you perceive may not be reality. Finally, let's not get carried away by the first impression or by appearances, let's stop for a moment to think, listen and reflect before issuing a judgment that then is difficult to reverse, so we will maintain a good relationship with everyone and especially with ourselves.
