Hi Craig:
(1) I recently heard about a new blockchain call HashGraph,
instead of just blocks on information
HashGraph uses Events, and
Gossip and Gossiping the update the chain.
Is that what Steem uses?

(2) in layman's terms,
is this inflation similar to say, ...
interest earned in a Whole Life Insurance policy?

Where in the initial Premium is what keeps the policy going, and there is interest earned on top that is being taken out as profit, given to Steemians.

and as long as our participation adds true value then we earn more interest and NEVER have to dip into the into Premium investment. :D
