What Steemit Mean To Me (Take Your Time To Read Through, Don't Just Upvote)

I will try to be as honest as possible with this post. Let me start by first telling you what steemit mean to me when i was first introduced to steemit and later on, i will later move back to tell you what steemit mean to me right now.

When i first join steemit that was about two and half months ago, i join with the intention of writing any post either original or not original post just post it and go, expect something big to come out of it. All i could see was 0.01$ attimes 0.09$. Then there was a thought that come to me may be i should make the text longer i will earn more than before, i try to make another post but still seeing thesame result. To be honest i was quite pissed off, that was when the thought of making thorough examination from post with high pending payout came to my mind.

One of those things i could observe was the level of hardwork put in place, i was convinced when i also took thesame issue to my community (Steemnaira).

The things i heard from the community leaders @destinysaid, @michaelcj, @dante31and other community member was that hardwork really works of which i really try it and it work for some moments because at that particular moment my upvote value changed from 0.09$ to $15 per each post just from upvote from @curie later on it start going down to $10 and later $5 all this earnings look good to me. After a while i start making more research by joining more and more community both on discord and whatsapp in other to give my post more visibility.

My reward was increasing a little bit as i was getting more upvote from my post, to round it up what steemit actually mean to back then is to just write good content post it and expect people to start upvoting the post. My knowledge of quality is any post that can increase human knowledge.

But after reading @lukestokes post when i was reading @gbenga post titled Nigerian Should Become Investors And Not Oppurtunist On Steemit after going through @lukestokes old post where i later got to know that steemit is Family but on his post he take steemit as Relationship but to me steemit is Family

Since steemit is Family then as a steemian who happen to be part of the family member here on steemit you should learn to interact on other people post, through the comments section.

Answering the question "why do whales here on steemit upvote each other post"

The answer to the question is as a result of relationship they build long time ago. So dear minors learn to build new relationship with people here on steemit don't just upvote post learn to comment, it really have a long way to go beyond what you expect earlier.

Moving back to @lukestokes post he use his wife @corinnestokes as a case study below is what he say on his post.

I was working at building relationship and my wife, so far, was just trying to put out good content
after doing all this it was made known to me that @lukestokes wife @corinnestokes was not really doing well like him because she have actually been working hard to write good and unique content but not performing as expected.
I think all of this is enough to tell you the power of building relationship.

Remember this is not a money making machine, but a social media, so why ignore the social aspect of steemit and focus more on the reward aspect. You should note everything work hand in hand.

Social; Steemit is a place for socially connected group of people either local or international (worldwide). I believe you all know there are different people from different countries of the world right here on steemit.

Technical; steemit is a blockchain, it involve alot of technicality to run a social media like this. Those running the blockchain can explain better @pfunk and others will be able to talk more about this. The nigerian curators can also talk more about this.

Esteem this means to regard someone with respect, that is why there is reputation here on steemit, everyone here start with a reputation of (25). Reputation is more like identify, so learn to show regard to those with high reputation they have done a wonderful job before attaining such reputation.

Exposed; you will be exposed to different kind of people from different backgrounds, ethnic and continent of the world. So the question am about to ask is;

Through out your time on steemit have you been exposed to new thing or new way of life?

member; in other to be participant of steemit, you need to be a member which requires registration. Also there you need to be a member of a particular community outside steemit in other to build a good relationship with community member.

intelligent; in other be a good and reputable member on steemit your level of intelligence matters alot. The world entirely need creative and smart members so also is steemit, so bring out the best in you and let the world entirely know how valuable you are.

Transformation; a marked change in appearance, character especially one for the better. Let use example of influential individual on steemit as an example @ned life was not just a transform individual after creating steemit with @dan but the real transformation was after steem fest were there was lot of gathering to celebrate steemit his creation. That is what i called family love.

Steemit has created what other social media find difficult to create family love from different group of people in various continent of the world.

I believe by now you must have learn that steemit is not just about reward, but a new place to build a new relationship, of which that is what family do. So what are you waiting for start relating with people through the comments section. Be social make sure every comment count, stop ignoring post make necessary comment from post you read stop generic comment like "nice one, good post, i like this post"
