3 reasons why you should learn Spanish

Spanish or Castilian are languages deriving from Latin, the roman language which has managed to expand the most in our world, so I am going to tell you 3 reasons why I consider it important to learn Spanish.

• It is the second most spoken language as a mother Language in the world, it has a huge number of speakers. Currently there are more than 500 million speakers and this figure is increasing as more and more people are interested in learning this language. You have the opportunity to communicate with many people and getting to know different cultures (explain further in the next bullet point) is definitely a great opportunity to increase your social repertoire.

• Spanish is the official language in 20 different countries and there are many more where the language is not official and yet is spoken by more than 100,000 people, so it will open many doors for your work for example. Furthermore, you can travel and learn about all these countries whilst experiencing a feeling-at-home atmosphere. Most of them are multicultural, multilingual and have a very diverse gastronomy (for those who love to eat hahahahaha (me))

• It is a language of diversity, Spanish is very flexible and expressive, has a wide vocabulary and accents, for those who have already started learning or speaking it natively they will know that a word can have 1000 meanings and only one thing can be said in 1000 different ways and this is because in each country the language is spoken with a different accent and the words also have different meanings in each country.

El idioma español o castellano es una lengua procedente del latín, es la lengua romance que más ha logrado expandirse, por ello te voy a decir 3 razones por las que considero importante aprender español.

• Es la segunda lengua más hablada como lengua materna en el mundo, tiene una cantidad enorme de hablantes, actualmente son más de 500 millones de hablantes y esta cifra va en aumento ya que cada vez son más las personas que aprenden este idioma. Tienes oportunidad de comunicarte con muchísimas personas y aprender diferentes culturas (verás por qué digo esto en el próximo punto) en definitiva es una gran oportunidad para aumentar tu círculo social.

• El español se tiene como lengua oficial en 20 países y existen muchos más en donde la lengua no es oficial y sin embargo es hablada por más de 100,000 personas, por lo que te abrirá muchas puertas a nivel laboral. También podrás viajar y conocer todos estos países sintiéndote como en casa, la mayoría de ellos son multiculturales, multilingües y cuentan con una amplia gastronomía (para los que nos encanta comer jajajajaja (o sea yo))

• Es un idioma de diversidad, el español es muy flexible y expresivo, tiene un amplio vocabulario y acentos, para los que ya han iniciado este aprendizaje o lo hablan nativamente sabrán que una palabra puede significar 1000 cosas y una solo cosa se puede decir de 1000 maneras diferentes y esto se debe a que en cada país el idioma se habla con un acento diferente y las palabras también tienen significados diferentes en cada país.

Spanisch oder Castellano sind Sprachen abstammend von Latein und ist die romanische Sprache welche sich am meisten auf der Welt ausgebreitet hat, und deshalb werde ich euch heute 3 Gründe dafür nennen warum ich es für wichtig halte Spanisch zu lernen.

• Es ist die zweit meistgesprochene Muttersprache der Welt mit einer extrem großen Anzahl an Sprechern. Aktuell gibt es über 500 Millionen Sprecher und diese Nummer breitet sich weiter aus durch das große Interesse am Erwerb dieser Sprachkenntnisse.

• Spanisch ist Landessprache in 20 verschiedenen Ländern und es gibt noch einige Länder mehr, in welchen es mehr als 100,000 aktive Sprecher gibt, also kann Spanisch einem Türen öffnen in Bezug auf Arbeitsverbindungen. Darüber hinaus kann man reisen und Länder entdecken während man immer ein „wie-zu-Hause“ Gefühl empfindet. Viele der Länder sind multikulturell, mehrsprachig und haben eine große Auswahl an kulinarischen Spezialitäten (für die unter euch die gerne essen)

• Es ist eine vielseitige Sprache, Spanisch ist sehr flexible und aussagekräftig, es besitzt eine sehr große Anzahl an Vokabular und Akzenten, und diejenigen von euch, die schon angefangen haben die Sprache zu lernen oder die Spanisch als Muttersprache sprechen wissen sicherlich, dass einige Worte mehr als 1000 Bedeutungen haben können vor Allem weil in verschiedenen Ländern die Worte und Akzente verschieden sind.
