Steemit was down - Can Steemit Handle Truth Speakers?

I'd like to share with you some the actions that I have been up to over the last day or so, and the timing of them, because these actions have happened around the same time that Steemit was down, so is there a connection and could Steemit be under attack?

Jake Morphonios - End Times News Report

I messaged Jake Morphonios, from End Times News Report on Facebook on Tuesday last week and he replied on Thursday 5th October, a couple of days later. I shared with him our new project OLAAT, and our desire to help missing children along with suggesting he joins Steemit as it blockchain, with no censorship, and he can also be paid for his posts and work.

He replied saying he already had a Steemit account that he'd posted on a few times but not used for a while, but he'd check out his password and connect with me here and also told me his username is @jake333 when I asked him.

When I looked at his account that day both the username and display name were @jake333 and there was nothing to show that he was the owner of that account. When you check this account name the name is showing as Jake Morphonios and his You Tube channel for End Times News Report has been added, so he found his password and updated his account to show it is him!

When I go to log in on Friday, Steemit is off-line and takes sometime to get back up and running - co-incidence or not?

When you check out Jake's latest videos on You Tube, he is saying he is under attack and his family, now on his 7th tyre blow out and his wife was driving for at least one of them.

He has also said in this video that both of his research computers had been shut down, rebooted and had update messages waiting, when he has no automatic updates set up on his computers and he uses Tor and lots of security software.

Attacks on Truth Speakers

It's fairly well known that Truth Speakers do get attacked and the type of attacks can vary considerably. 

For me the attacks have been somewhat hidden and in very unusual or weird ways, so that when you share what has been going on, most people would think you're crazy or making it up! Now anyone who has been through something similar will instantly know that you're not making it up and totally believes what is happening.

Having had attacks on my computer, shutting down live calls mid sentence, website payment buttons not working for some people but working for others, making it almost impossible for some people to purchase through my website, so a big attack on finances, then attachments and download links not working for people to actually get and receive the audio, I'm pretty open and aware that almost anything can happen with technology, that would seem impossible to others!

Can Steemit Handle Truth Speakers?

I am recommending more Truth Speakers to join Steemit, some may instantly see the benefits and join, others may need to hear the idea from other people a few times before they really check it out. 

Long term the number of Truth Speakers on Steemit is going to grow.

So with the awareness of what I and others have already experienced,  I feel it is an important question to ask - 

Can Steemit handle this level 'invisible attacking?'

Now I have total faith in our amazing witnesses and so I believe the answer to this is YES, however, I do feel awareness is needed as to the fact that Steemit could now well be a target for attack?

The very reasons why Steemit is so great for Truth Speakers:

• Blockchain and decentralised
• Not censorerd
• Can earn funds for posting, especially with a big following

Are reasons why the 'elite' will most definitely not want Truth Speakers on Steemit and out of their control in terms of sharing information.  I do feel that the more Truth Speakers that join Steemit the bigger this issue of being attacked is going to be, and so I do hope that our great witnesses are well prepared for what might follow.

Knowledge is Power

To be pre-warned is to be prepared and makes it easier to deal with it, rather than being taken by surprise and in reaction mode rather than choosing action mode.
