I just came back after several-months-long hiatus from Steemit.

This really got me thinking; it would really take a while before one is able to get a great number of followers (legit readers). What matters right now, for me, is that I am able to express freely whatever I feel and write just about anything interesting. The rewards (votes, $$$) are just a plus.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
