London is a bustling city ,it is energetic and full of life and it seems to never sleep .A way to escape the noise and constant movement may seem hard at times but everyone has a place where they feel at peace and most relaxed .
I live very central in zone 1/2 and am always exposed to the rush hour during the week and huge volume of tourism in my area, well boohoo you're thinking (haha).
But for me as a Londoner It is hard to really connect with nature as I am not surrounded by much of it and this is what helps me feel most relaxed
From a very young age I have always been taken to the queens royal parks during the weekends and after school and because they are so large and surrounded by so much green you do some times forget you are in this large and polluted city. my personal favourite is Hyde park ,for me it is the perfect park with the beautiful serpentine lake , Long paths and a lot of grass to lay out your towel and relax on , during the summer and winter this park is a great spot to socialise or take out a book out and also go for long walks.
London has other great park and enjoyable spots as well it's just up to you to find your special place.
