Whining about Steemit Rewards will Not Get you Steemit Rewards

Honestly, I don't put out much content on steemit. Not becuase I don't like the platform, I LOVE the steemit platform incredibly.

I just not am a writer as my primary job; even though I know I could do it quite well. If the money was there, hey, even more reason to write great content. The problem with everyone becoming a steemit writer and trying to make money is...well is their writing worth it? Is writing the best productive use of their time?

Steemit rewards are coming to writers because investors value the innovate platform that steemit is. It's unlike nothing else and is a revolutionary invention unto itself like bitcoin was when it was founded in 2009. Because investors value the Steemit platform does not guarantee anyone free money for writing content. (yeah, this is well known).

First of all, good content is very much up to everyone's opinion and is the public debate that steemit allows so much better than anything before it; albeit not without its flaws or bumps in the road as any new and disruptive technology must deal with. V1.0 is never the be-all-end-all.

Some people's votes count more than others.

If an algorithm changes that somehow leads you to less rewards, that's just the way it is. Maybe it will change in the future. If you dislike the program that's running on steemit, go ahead and voice your opinion about the coding.

What is really the problem with good content not being rewarded well?

Perhaps humans are flawed.

Perhaps the steemit userbase is not rewarding accurately.

Perhaps the algorithm is flawed or needs some tweaks.

Or maybe a mixture of all of the above? - I'm not making a value judgement. And though I'm a computer programmer, I haven't examined the way the voting rules are applied on this site. We're only a year old. One Year Old! - We're still a baby pooping in our diapers here on this blogging platform.

I believe in #Steemit, this is an incredible move forward for society, the internet and even money itself.
