I like how STREET ART uses creativity to go beyond the image to give a message that often tells the common unease of an entire community.

If you happened to see some of my posts dedicated to street artists, I like to share the murals scattered everywhere in the world that in addition to embellishing our concrete buildings, give a moment of reflection to anyone who finds himself observing the work.

As street artists tell about what is happening around them, even in this difficult historical moment for all humanity they try to make a contribution to face this pandemic.

Here is how street artists from all over the world tell the new reality of social distancing that we find ourselves living.

Through their works they help to share institutional messages to contain COVID-19 that cannot reach everyone at all.

In Dakar, Senegal, this mural appeared on March 25, 2020 to encourage people to protect themselves from COVID-19 keeping the face covered possibly with a mask.

This other mural shows the hygiene rules to be followed to avoid the spread of the coronavirus. Also in Senegal, on the wall of the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar.

In Milan, a tribute to Hayez's "The Kiss" in the Coronavirus era, with lovers holding a package of amuchina and wearing a mask.

Pontefract, in Northern England, on a mural a nurse appears above her with the logo of the English national health service and the symbol of Superman, underlining the fundamental role of the whole category of nurses on the front line to fight coronavirus in the wards of the hospitals.

I want to close with the most important message the one left on a Los Angeles wall to sensitize people to stay home to avoid coronavirus infections.

It will be a long struggle conducted with social isolation, keeping at least a meter away between people who have to interact with each other outside the home, masks and latex gloves to avoid contact with the virus.

It is true that our social relationships have been distorted and we do not know how long, but we must remember that under the mask we can make a SMILE from afar for others, because the mouth is covered but our EYES can speak through the HEART.. silently.

Thanks for stopping by here.❀️

Nice overview but sneezing in your elbow is disgusting. I wonder how many do so and wash their clothes on 60Β°C at least. What happened with the handkerchief. Except for people with allergies I never met people sneezing.

Coughing and spitting is a different story. Many smokers do so too.

You're right @wakeupkitty, it's disgusting not to use a handkerchief, but better in the arm than anywhere. One thing is for sure, this covid-19 made us understand that being more polite can also save our lives. At least now people avoid sneezing how and where it happens.
Who knows after coronavirus?πŸ€”Thanks a lot for your message.πŸ˜‰

I wonder why it suddey is disgusting and not done. Each year we have the flu, last year with us at least 4900 people died and the only thing I see in the past 30 years is people coughing, sneezing and spitting in each others face.

I haven't seen anyone sneeze yet except me and my kid. We both suffer from allergies and supermarkets and people cause it too.
