Help a New Steemit User Out Please... Are There Mobile Wallets or Non Steemit Account Wallets?

Hey y'all, wondering if some of you more experienced Steemit users can help me out with something. So today is my first day on Steemit. I really like how the content on here is free from censorship and love that there's no payment processor to decide who we can do business with and what we can pay for.

I first started getting involved with Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies after Paypal, Stripe and Venmo shut down my accounts for selling adult related pictures and doing shows and taking payment that way.

I love how Steemit transactions seem to be either free or incredibly cheap, however if someone wanted to pay me using Steem it seems they would need to be a Steemit user and have a Steemit account. Are there any wallets which are independent from the actual blogging platform where someone could buy Steem and pay me directly for shows and pics?

Would greatly appreciate if someone could help me out in figuring this out. Thank you in advance.

Pay directly from any exchange that has Steem and SBD, That usually means Bittrex and Poloniex.

Hi @bellsx1 thanks for commenting. I understand it can be bought and sent from an exchange but can are there any wallets that can be downloaded on a phone or even a software wallet for the computer that's seperate or independent from the actual Steemit platform? I have some regular customers of mine that are probably happy to pay me in cryptocurrency but they probably aren't going to setup a Steemit account and from what I hear sending from exchanges costs extra fees.

The Free Wallet

Steem is good for transparent transactions and governance type of commerce since having a steem blockchain account is required. They only way to not have an account on steem and send money to someone who does is through an exchange. Using a wallet like Jaxx or Exodus provide more flexible payment choices.

So you sold adult content via PayPal... bad girl ;)

But hey, i found this in the steemit faq, don't know if it'll help you: https://steemit.com/faq.html#Can_I_sell_goods_and_services_on_Steemit

Good luck ;)
