I'm keeping my eye on that downward trend on the daily. That big pop we had yesterday moved us a good deal upward, but didn't quite break the trend. I'm wanting to put the rest of my crypto-investment fund into Steem, but I'm worried about the Bitcoin crash pattern repeating again. Crypt0 says it better in his video here, starting at 9m18s:
Your note about how you have a plan and are disciplined with your Steemit routine triggered an interesting thought. I am the same way, I even set timers and alarms to remind me when my voting power hits 100%. I'm wondering if this is too much maintenance for mass adoption? On the one hand, it's a bit of a complex system compared to something like Facebook. On the other hand, most of the mechanics are invisible to the novice user (they probably aren't poking around Steemd, etc.) and perhaps they will not even notice they are being inefficient, and therefore not care, until their votes are almost 0%.

My voting power has finally recovered to almost 60% after consistently running it down into the 30's.
You're spot on about having to just get away from Steemit in order to recover your VP. I feel like I'm doing a disservice to this platform to let people who post quality content get shit-all for their time and effort, especially when I see some of the other abuse going on and I don't feel as bad if I haven't been there to upvote.

I cannot stand the limits of upvoting 100%. Only ten votes...It's ridiculous.
I'm limiting my 100% upvotes to my #payitforward people and my own posts. I don't upvote my comments but I do try to comment my favorite people with anywhere from 10 to 50%.
I had to stop my SteemVoter bot because my account was down to 50%. It was great while I was away but I'm back and it looks like I've returned to organic curation again. Unfortunately I'm missing a lot of people that I normally upvote. I guess I'll get use to it.
Anyway, great video @mindhunter. I'll be honest, I don't click a lot of vlogs/videos. It's too easy to get distracted and do other things while they're running and then I miss the message. LOL (I partially blame my broken brain for that.) ;)
