Today I am sharing the first virtual museum in Bangladesh. The journey of the country's first virtual museum has started on February 26. Ahmed Zaman Sanjeev and his team have created this museum with the idea of digitally preserving the heritage of Bangladesh for future generations. In the future, more than four and a half hundred installations will be added to the virtual reality screen.
What is a virtual museum?
The Virtual Museum is a platform created using virtual reality, where archeology can be viewed in its original form using 3D or 6D Freedom.
To get this experience in a digital museum, you need to read Virtual Reality Headset. Through simulations, you can get a real experience of visiting museums in person.
Finally, after five years in 2016, Ahmed Zaman Sanjeev visited Panamanagar with his wife. Seeing the dilapidated state of the ancient archeological resources, Sanjeev suddenly thought of virtual reality (VR). If the simulation or three-dimensional environment can be created through virtual reality, then Panamnagar can be shown what it was like one and a half hundred years ago, as well as its documentary can be preserved for future generations. Then another co-founder Oni joined him.
In the beginning, he wanted to work with Panamnagar but later the work started with the sixty domed mosque. Sanjeev completed the technical work by watching various tutorials. In five years' time, three-dimensional (3D) displays of six installations in Bangladesh will be seen in the Virtual Museum. The installations are: Sixty Dome Mosque, Chhota Sona Mosque in Chapainawabganj, Bara Sardar Bari in Sonargaon, Panamnagar, Kantjir Mosque in Dinajpur, and 11 Shiva temples in Jessore.
The virtual museum on a gaming engine:
The whole project of 'Virtual Museum Bangladesh' has been built on a gaming engine. For this, they have used open-source software. The unreal engine has been used as the gaming engine. As a result, there was no need to buy any software to build the virtual museum. They have used this software because they do not want to get involved in any kind of copyright, or licensing complications. Anyone can modify the game engine. The Unreal Gaming Engine used by Virtual Museum Bangladesh is by far the highest quality gaming engine. His alertness and dedication are also required. The simulation is supposed you send a rocket into space, before sending a rocket you might want to visualize or see how your rocket goes in the sky. In short, you can see if the rocket will fly in the sky by doing whatever you have planned or designed. And to see it, you have to work on the gaming engine. First, you will give various data or information, and then you will see the output accordingly.
The virtual museum is modeled on Blender software. It is also free software like open source. Substance tools have been used to check text sharing and lighting. They were the first to collect data for Virtual Museum Bangladesh. Data is collected from archeology, online, and research papers of various experts, and researchers. Simulations have been created based on that data or information by selecting data from there. An initial visualization is created based on the initial information. Then again the changes or connections are made based on the final data. They have had to go to those old installations a few times to do the whole work of the virtual museum. VR Museum:
When you look at the museum on the VR headset, you will feel as if you are looking at it physically. The type of video we usually watch runs at 50 fps. But when I see the museum on the VR headset, the video runs at least 75 fps. If anyone wants to see the digital museum on their computer or laptop, they need to have a good graphics card. After a week, of having no support from @booming accounts we are now able once again start submitting the best posts from WOX community posts but also the posts that dedicated to Visual Art for @booming support.
*I do not know how it was for your, dear members but for me it was a mixture of two feelings:
It was good for me: I had less work and spent less time on Steemit. On one hand it fitted well into my tight timetable. This week is my long day shifts from my work so daily almost 13 hours, coming home late and very tired I just wanted to have a little meal and go directly to bed and starting the same following morning. Also this week we have new doctors joining our team due to routine rotation that was fallen into this week and it was then more work with introduction and induction for them.Luckily everything went well at the end and now I have free weekend.
It was bad for members of WOX : On the other hand it was very sad to see that there were so many good and hard working users who were creating great posts and trying to be noticed but we were not able to support them as best as we could. Once again it is noticeable how important to have High Steem Power. That also plays important role for members if they will receive no adequate support they simply stop posting and leave. Why to post if nobody cares and noticing them. But in such situation I only would like to advise everyone who would like to have a strong community:
