I don't even understand what there is to gain from running around a blogging site harassing people you don't know. At least spamming makes some form of sense because there is money to be made.

Well, this person is a demented sociopath who probably "gets off" on hurting others, specifically (seemingly) women.
The majority of steemit is decent normal folk but I do with there could be some kinda perma-ip-ban for people on this level. It brings nothing to the site.
