Prison Break" season 5 isn't going to be out until next year but fans who have followed the series since its premiere back in 2005 are getting some spoilers already of what's to come. And if things turn out great, the series revival could be getting more than just one new season.
As already teased, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) isn't dead after all despite sacrificing his life in the season 4 finale. He is stuck in a Morrocan prison and his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) will get information about him. Things will pick up from there and apparently, the whole season will basically revolve around the storyline that involves Michael trying to break out again.
It's not known yet how Michael cheated death but in an interview with TVLine at the recent San Diego Comic-Con, Miller commented that the explanation is "cool, unexpected and justified."
The new season is also expected to be a very emotional one considering Michael left behind the love of his life Sarah Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) and their son Mike (Christian Michael Cooper). Spoilers suggest that after seven years, Sarah has moved on from her loss.
She is even now married to someone else. But with Michael resurrecting from the dead, things will shake in her life. Is Sarah still in love with Michael or has she completely moved on to a happy life with her new husband (Mark Feuerstein)?
Callies spoke to Entertainment Weekly wherein she revealed that her character has moved on from her grief already. She said that Sarah's focus in the new season is to give her son a good life. She also divulged that the Sarah of season 5 is very different from the Sarah of the previous seasons.
"She's changed hugely, just as I have," Callies said. "I don't think I could play a facsimile of Sara Tancredi from season 1, but playing Sara Scofield in season 5 is both different and honest," she added.
