Taking time out from your personal /daily schedule is easier said than done. Sometimes you try to take take personal time but you find yourself becoming increasingly anxious about not doing any work .

But there's way. I'm going to outline three steps to carving out a personal time for yourself

start with something scheduled :

I know of a banker who despite his hours still tunes in every week to watch live episodes of dynasty.

Coming to steemit, if you could mark out a time for writing posts, upvoting or commenting you'll actually find it easier. For example, you can decide to take 8pm to 10pm as steemit time and actually stick to it.

Don't compromise :

Nobody is worth every second of your day

It is something I struggled with when I was trying to make out my weekly me time.

I work online and as a result am always on call so dedicating few hours to steemit proved tough at first but then I marked out time for myself and decided not to compromise.

Not compromising have helped me stayed active everyday of the last few weeks.

Always remember that the small amount time is important for putting your best self forward.

Encourage others to do the same :

Working 24/7 makes your colleagues antsy. For example sending them emails at odd hours make them feel guilty for not replying immediately.

Since I started taking my own personal time, I've been encouraging everyone to do the same.

As they say, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Thanks @molokwu this is timely.

In addition....One of the things that weakens spirit on steemit is that there are too much to digest, so to make it more easer, one should follow thoes writting on the area of interest and that will make steemit fun for him/ her, thus increase his/stay here..

Weldone @molokwu i almost wrote myokon the musician

You're definitely correct. When I joined steemit initially, it was frustrating because mybfeed was full with random posts but later on, I learnt to tailor it to areas of interest.

This is it!

Do not ever compromise!

You are [email protected] management and allocation has actually been my major struggle since i joined steemit and as ifechi-works said there are too many posts to read especially when one has some other engagements..but thanks to your post i know better as a matter of fact i'm working on it already....

Don't compromise man

thanks for sharing molokwu,

Thanks ...... This is was very helpful

Of course scheduling is the trick, coupled with strategy, know what you gotta do that day, decide when best to do it, go and do it at that exact time, do it and nothing else, that's how to live that gangster life.
