Heavy hail was observed in Tangbhanga village of Hatibandha upazila of the district on Friday morning. It has leaked tin rice in many rooms. There is extensive damage to corn, chilli, onion, boro rice fields. Photo: Shafiul Alam, Patgram, Lalmonirhat, and many places of the country including Kalabishakhi on Friday. Four people were killed in this. At some places, there was heavy loss of crops in hail and heavy rains. Houses and plants have been affected.
Magura Sadar and Mohammedpur, Parbatipur of Dinajpur, Ishwardi of Pabna, Lalmonirhat and Fulbari upazila of Kurigram have suffered heavy loss due to hail. Three people were killed in Magura Sadar in Hail, Parbatipur of Dinajpur and Ishwardi in Pabna. Besides, a college girl was killed in a torn wire in Abhaynagar upazila in Jessore.
