​If I were the dev team, I would be planning Steemit to be something grander than Facebook. Facebook is and most probably will be for a very long time a fantastic social platform, just like Instagram, Twitter and all the rest are in their own rights. I believe if Steemit wants to be something bigger it needs to let all platforms integrate the technology into their platforms, doing this would allow Steemit to adapt in the long term.
