IMPORTANT TIP! WHY YOU SHOULDN'T CURRENTLY POWER UP(100%)!!!

In a previous article I explained the differences between Power Up(100%) and Default(50% / 50%) as well as Decline Payout. In this article, I'm going to explain why you shouldn't currently power up 100%!

Here's the deal. If you choose the default option, 50% of your rewards will be paid to you in SBD. Steem dollar or SBD is supposed to be pegged to the US dollar but its price fluctuates based on supply and demand. Currently SBD is overvalued and it's worth almost twice! Yes... You heard that right! Each Steem dollar or SBD is currently worth about 2 US dollars!

If you choose to power up 100%, all your rewards will be paid to you in SP which is equal to Steem based on US dollars. In other words, you will miss out on the overvaluation of SBD. You can't do much about half of the rewards either way. However, if you choose Power Up(100%), you will miss out on the overvaluation of SBD on 50% of the rewards. But if you choose the default option, you will get paid in SBD for half of the rewards your post will make.

You can convert the SBD to Steem and then SP or Steem Power and see the difference for yourself. Currently, you can buy almost twice as much Steem and therefore power up almost twice as much if you choose the default option, get paid in SBD or Steem dollars and then convert your SBDs or Steem dollars to Steem through the internal market here!

Easy! You check the price of Steem in SBD in the internal market here and you compare it with the price of Steem in USD in the outside market. Please consider upvoting and/or resteeming. :)

Thanks. I would vote, but I'm trying to regain my voting power. I abused it down to 19%, and I dont know if thats a bad thing to do. I've followed you though....
