Taman Sari
By Ryuuyamato
Beautiful flower garden. That's roughly the meaning of Taman Sari's name. This bath area is a very beautiful building complex and become an asset of Keraton Yogyakarta. Built after the Treaty of Giyanti in 1755, this place was designed as a place of exile the Sultan of Yogyakarta and his family from the hustle and bustle of the world. Although it was devastated shaken earthquake, at this time Taman Sari has returned to look beautiful.
Taman Sari is designed in such a way as to bring calm to anyone who is in it. The building also reflects a multicultural style (Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese, Javanese, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, and Islamic). The tiny pool with its clear fountain and flowering trees, adds to the beauty of this place. At the same time make it as a perfect resting location.
