Now keep in mind this doesn't have to be elaborate 20 page long posts, there's an Instagram like app called Steepshot attached to Steemit where you can post pictures very similar to how you post a photo on Instagram so 7 pieces of content could be blog posts, could be videos or could just be a photo.

Lets see 1 week for me is today. Almost 300 followers. Gained about 4.5 steem power and quite a few steem and SBD (Steem Dollars) So my first impressions are this is a great place! Hope to continue my fast pace!
From my experiance longer posts are better, pictures with a story are even better. People want to feel a part of something, or feel an emotion. Pictures alone are just pictures.
Then again with a good following I know a steemian on here than makes 80+ A post with his computer drawings....Id say the most important is engaging with others through comments, and upvotes along with growing your audience (followers) ;)
