What if bots upvote each other? What stops them from gaming the system to build reputation before they start shitposting? You can have bots for promoting content, bots for censoring content, and also bots for farming reputation/steempuffs.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
