I think they'd be better off with 10% of $1 trillion vs 10% of $1 billion.
I don't do caffeine so I'm not sure what I would blow my money on. I think I'd try and buy better leadership but that might only cost $1 billion.

Its just a fact in the math, vote sellers take food out of the mouths of folks that dont need all that much to get by.
Left to the minnows, steem gets mass adoption and the price goes to equalibrium.
Raped by the crapitalusts it flounders along enriching the insiders at the expense of the new fools.

Not necessarily. If all the vote sellers dumped their steem and left the platform the rewards value would net decrease. Without capitalists there wouldn't even be a steem platform to begin with. It didn't just magically appear. Those starving Venezuelans are getting fed in part thanks to greedy capitalists.

Are they?
I think they would be better served by a world that took it as a mark of shame that they starve outside full warehoses because the wealthy sucked it up in order to buy their whore some more coke.

The vote sellers can only dump if there are buyers to sell to.
Until steem appeals to the newbs, they will never adopt it as a currency.
You do realize you are wanting steem to appeal to those with the spare cash laying around that they can risk losing, as opposed to those that might buy in to use as currency.

I think charity is good and I also think capitalism is better than socialism.
I would be willing to buy 100 shares of steem for $1. lol
I would like steem and sbd to better appeal to everybody but I think people should have a better understanding of how it works. I guess I should do a blog post about that soon.

I wish i had bought more than 100usd when it was .15usd.

I keep hoping it goes back, we earn more steem power as the price drops.

The whale experiment was working.
Some good whales downvoted all votes over 800mv and the minnows began to matter in the math, but stinc hurried up and forced linear rewards on us before the average user could know the difference.
They chose scammers over mass adoption. Knowingly.

It seem like a pretty viable platform to me but I think we need WAY better training for new users and I think the earnings threshold should be .01.
I think if the steem price rises everyone will benefit.

Yes, the learning curve is steep. The community needs to carry the weight of welcoming in the newbs.
Its just that there are so few of us and the turn over is so high that we are fighting uphill.
Steem isnt for everybody, really i wish they would put up a paywall.
That way we'd get more serious users and fewer scammers.

That rounding crap is bs.
Every vote should credit the vests it commands.
But even @dan wanted to encourage buying in and 150sp used to be alot cheaper.

I've been trying to train people especially when I see them wasting their votes.
I think a paywall would be a bad idea.
Yeah it does seem fraudulent which is what I put in my post. I think a .01 threshold might be ok.
