I am not going to say it isnt without hard work. Sure it beats digging ditches but from what I can see, it takes time to build a following and immerse once enough into the community to put stuff up that gets followed.
It is like trying to break into the popular group in high school. It takes a while to get their trust and move into that circle. One might have to start out on the fringe for a while before moving towards the inner core.

I don't agree that steemit does not require hard work. I have seen a lot of elaborated well written post here and I know those authors put in a lot of work into it.
