Greetings dear Steemit community.
I have to introduce myself with my main topic "marketing" and I am currently focused on it.
I will tell you in a brief introduction what we will cover in the following pages.
The content is unpublished, of my authorship, it will be developed gradually and in the future it will be transformed into a book, so take advantage of reading it now that it is free.
How to stand out in the crowd?
Nowadays there are many writers, designers and other freelancers, who through much more creative ways can promote a company without having knowledge in it, and this is thanks to the technologies that have been emerging and the use of the resources at hand.
For example, many entrepreneurs when they start their businesses know that they must exploit social networks with content that will help them, but a simple photo is not enough and that is where graphic designers come in that will allow them to attract the attention of the public with photos and videos.
There are also those who want to rank on Google, but unfortunately have no knowledge about SEO copywriting. Many professionals could write sheets and sheets of information, but without the right structure and wording they will not stand out in Google.
For this reason, whenever we start a business we must always ask ourselves the following questions:
What do we know about the market?
What are the most effective sales methods for your industry?
How much time do we have to work on marketing our company?
Currently the market is more fickle and unstable, users are capricious and impulsive, the attention time that a user dedicates to an internet publication must be captured in the first 5-15 seconds and if it is a publication written in a paragraph of no more than 3 lines, the images must have the highest quality possible, but must be light for fast loading.
And so we could go on for a whole day mentioning everything that a good marketing plan requires, but let's summarize in that now everything is digital, accurate and users want to know what they will get with just a simple glance at the publication.
As for the most effective sales methods, I always like to surf the web and social media quite a bit. In every job I'm going to do I first make a thorough analysis of what others are doing, I take a little of what I like and so I can make a sketch of what I want and that surely the client will like.
Although there are many who already have a clear idea in their minds and show me directly their competition and tell me something like "I like what he/she is doing and I want something similar", and that although many see it as bad is actually the most effective method to boost our business.
To know our ideal sales method we must analyze the best competitors in our field, see what they do and exploit the fields they are leaving out. This is done by multinationals, if not because they believe that all McDonald's, Burger king, Pizza Hut and others use the colors yellow and red in their logos and everything that has to do with marketing.
However, in addition to adopting practices like the competition does, it is also important to engage in some activity that none of them are doing, this way they can intensify their marketing practice and get unexpected results.
If you've ever watched the show Seinfeld you'll know what I'm talking about, as a character there named George makes a rather interesting statement when he says "Every time I do the opposite, things tend to work out."
Finally we have the time we are dedicating to the practice of marketing, this must be constant and daily we must have a space dedicated to it, with relevant publications, address issues a little personal to not be seen only as a seller and even out of topic from time to time to empathize with the public (There are those who leave spelling or grammatical errors on purpose to seem a little more human).
Did you know that marketing is even more important than the product itself?
You probably already knew it, but you hadn't noticed it, but that's how it is! And the fact is that through marketing we can sell anything (we can even create needs) to anyone. So think about how much are you willing to invest in your business? And I'm not just talking about money but also time.
When you start your marketing strategy, make it your goal to stand out from the crowd, as that will work well to differentiate your business from all the competition. You must be something different and take the opposite approach from your peers this will set you apart and get you noticed.
