I just hit 200 followers. Thank you!

I joined Steemit in August of 2017. When I first started I was greeted by a welcoming community that were happy to share their experiences and knowledge with me. One of the things I loved about Steemit was the lack of trolls and petty arguments that seem to plague many other social media platforms. I am guessing that this is because we are all working towards a common goal.

What have I done on Steemit so far?

It all started with my introductory post, which is pretty standard. I then wanted to try and find my feet and plant myself firm within the community. I joined @teamaustralia. This group of people were instrumental in my Steemit journey. I posted some blogs about what it is like to be a father and I did what I could to be as open as I can with this welcoming community.

Then due to life being life, the amount of my comments reduced and then so did my posts. I took a bit of a break from Steemit. However, now I am back in full swing and I am committed to this platform and what it can bring to individuals and the world.

What to expect from me and my blog moving forward.

Moving forward I will be attempting to blog every day please don't kill me if I miss a day or two. I plan on running more competitions like my beard contest. I would like to share some goals that I have set myself and give you all progress updates on those goals.

One piece of advice that I was given about Steemit is that it is important to be a contributing member of the community. To attempt to ensure that I am giving back as much as I can I will commit to commenting on as many people's posts that I have not commented on before, daily. I will join competitions, answer questions and participate more in the PAL Network Discord.

I am looking forward to many more years on Steemit. I am so excited to see how the platform is growing every single day. The commitment from you all is truely staggering.
