I only have one true friend on here so far but thats only because i know them in the flesh but i think as the platform gets more people coming on and steem is more spread out you will build bigger and better friendships here just a matter of time and you could also invite your friends from other social platforms just my 2cents

    I, too, feel that Steemit will only improve as it grows.

    But can you blame me for being a little impatient? So many of my former social media bastions---Twitter, in particular---are going down into the briny blue. We don't have that much time to build our own platform before all the others have been sunk.

    But at least I still have a lot of commenters here, even if following people is still a largely undefined exercise.
