Take it easy. Steemit isn't going to disappear. If there are any of you out there who are as frustrated and confused with the whole system as I am, I hope you find comfort in knowing that you are not suffering alone. Developing a very good and genuine article takes time, vast knowledge, and experience. Remember, nobody loses. We have nothing to lose but everything to gain. This is only the beginning.

I would think it's like mining in that maybe it helps to be the first on Steemit. At the same time if you're going to write then you want to write something interesting, educational, entertaining, or novel. At the same time I think Steemit should be expanded so more multimedia can be shared but at the moment it's not necessary that everyone must write. You can put up videos or podcasts or pictures.
People who only think content is only in words are missing the point.
