Price usually takes into account future growth and potential. Let's look at the Rogers' bell curve for adoption.
Facebook is at its plateau and LinkedIn is not far behind. It is possible that the price of steem is seeing a potential market cap of several hundred billion dollars for steem, i.e., it could be the next FaceBook. Just a thought.
