Which I have managed to conceal so far.
Until I was called out today by a fellow Steem member who had found the truth.
Or, how one ring to rule them all became my downfall
My second 'Mea Culpa' in a short time. And I cannot even remember where it all started to go pearshaped. Yet, I knew it would be hard to keep this under the rose. There is also a feeling of relief, the burdon of guilt, always there lurging in the back of my head. And I knew, one day, it would all be brought to justice. The involved Steem members would all be known. Now it was game-set-match, for all of us who were involved in this. And it was a brilliant programmer that found out and exposed all, to clean SteemIt from this malefaction, we knew this day would come. It was all there summed up in one post, made by this enigmatic scholar mind.
My fellow partners in crime, that account cracked it all wide open, we have to admit it, we knew it would one day be exposed to the public. And it does not matter that the exposer does not seem to have a clue that SteemIt is merely the User Interface to the Steem Blockchain. The deception got out, mentioned in a long list are all the suspects that are involved in the scheme. And my account was there too, I had been caught in the act and had been exposed for my wrong doing. A lot of attention this post got, from all the suspects that were mentioned in long lists. Many replies outraged that their account was between the accused. But we have to admit it, this wrongdoing has to stop. We have to go to the mountain together and destroy what took over our consiness, that what made our wrong appear to be right.
Let us face it we have all done it, by hand or with help of automation. And now I see fire, inside a mountain, that is were we should burn it, before it destroys all good that is still left on this planet.
"One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them,"
"One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them."*
Or in our own secret Steem language:
"Un fodrwy i reol bawb, un fodrwy i ddod o hyd iddynt,"
"Un fodrwy i ddod â nhw i gyd ac yn y tywyllwch rhwymo nhw."**
Can you not see? It has taken over us all, the ring, it has to be destroyed. We have to thank the exposer, for that is our savior from the dark lord of who's name wel shalleth not speak. Now let us go to the mountain and destroy the ring, cast it into the lava from where it once came. Let Steem(It) be free again.
Yes, I too voted manual for post and replies of other Steem accounts. Some of them I even consider my friends, yes it is true, I am a ring voter! And I am so glad I got this weight now of my chest now... Pffff.
Ah well, Steem on and have a great one!
Diwrnod hyfryd i chwerthin.

*PS The text about the ring is quoted after "Lord of the rings" by Tolkien.
**PS2 The secret Steem language is also known as: Cymraeg.
Ever since they added follow it encourages ring voting. We need a topic follow. Communities can't get here soon enough.

To vote for ones prefered, followed, accounts and their post is okay with me. Even if accounts chose to do this automated for a certain list. Yet, I chose to vote manualy and also when possible at 100% and for replies too. For content I do like to watch, read, that makes me laugh or think deeper and so on, I upvote, if possible.
Maybe topic following would be a good addition, it goes a bit further than just filtering tags. Would like a setting to lock out some types of posts too myself. So, only content I really am interested in would show up in my timeline. That is what I want to upvote.
Still room for improvement. Communities will lead to 'ring' voting in those communities, I guess. Again, I see this as a kind of natural proces, it is part of being Social Media, of being human even.Just like it is okay for me to upvote post of accounts that have become friends.
If accounts want to unite, make voting 'guilds', 'trails' or 'rings' or whatever it is called, than it is their free choice to do so. In fact that is part of the system that is the motor of Steem as a Social Media platform on a blockchain.

That is sad to read, I feel sorry for your loss. My Dad went out off time 13 years ago, he lost his battle to cancer. It is very hard to let a parent go. In heart in memories always there to stay. Whish you much strength in the time to come.
.... Really good to see you back here, where I have almost become part of the furniture by now.

No, unfortunately I do not speak it, yet it fitted with the content of the post.
Some words I do recognise, yet to me it seems like an enigmatic language. Whish I was able to read, write and speak it.

ah, well we would highly recommend the VR language learning game we're building and testing with Welsh. Except that, well, it's very much a proof of concept at this stage: https://steemit.com/vr/@astralship/is-language-learning-a-killer-app-for-vr
