How Steemit Inspired me to Develop the first-ever Urban Governance App in Africa!

in steemit •  7 years ago  (edited)

With less than a week on #Steemit, I was inspired to develop the first-ever urban governance mobile application in Africa. Through exotic observation of this unique platform and the quality of content which is shared therein; I developed a mobile application called "Harare Yangu". HarareYangu is a shona word for "My Harare" in english. The mobile application empowers Harare citizens to track all budget expenditure by their municipality, at the same time engaging with municipal administrators in real-time. This ensure that there is budget transparency and overall service delivery improvement.

Hooray #Steemit and all its amazing members!

obina is the utilisation of ICT and such apps being generally accepted in developing nations such as Zimbabwe were it would appear not to be apriority relative to society. How are you able to foster interest in such issues?
