Serious question, are you all here for the money or because you actually like the plataform?

This is a serious question, I understand that you all may want to make some profit out of your work (writings, pics, videos, blogs, etc) but as an outsider the plataform seems like some strange thing, as if someone took several elements from others social networks and created some weird mix between Reddit and Twitter

I mean, i could understand that if the end game of steemit would be like an independent place were you could summit your own works and proffit from them, but I just cant see it as a more "personal" social network as Twitter or Instagram and neither as a weird internet social network as reddit

Basically my question is why are you here and how do you think this place will evolve in terms of content?
