This project's main objective is to appreciate people who add extra effort to promote and sustain this network. It is aimed at encouraging them to keep doing what they do and also motivating others to follow suit. 

We all know that some people have built helpful tools for the network, some are vigorously marketing Steem/Steemit to the world, some offer supportive aids to other users, some checkmate abnormalities in the network, some mentor new users, while some are engaged in crowdfunding for community projects. Therefore, we shall be using this platform to show our gratitude to all of them.

This project was up and running for three weeks until I I fell sick. I believe it will attract the same massive support we had in the previous series.

How it works

One

Every week we shall appreciate one worthy steemian for his/her contributions to this community.

Two

Every week a nomination post will come up where users will nominate the person they want us to appreciate.

Three

One person submits only one nomination.

Four

Submission of a nominee should contain a detailed information on why the person deserves to be appreciated.

Five

The previous winner will pick the next person we shall appreciate.

Six

50% of the liquid payout for the appreciation post shall be transferred to the person in whose honour the post was written. 20% shall be transferred to the user(s) whose nomination was picked. The remaining 30% will be evenly distributed among all those who properly participated in the nomination exercise.

This project is to appreciate people for the values they create for the network, It does not in any way represent a payment for their services.
