It's been a long time since I've seen a discussion page with so much constructive feedback. People really take their time to write good well-formed in-depth articles. Even the comment section has this over-all positive vibe to it.
I think the small reward for writing something good, really kicks it up a notch. and people - even though this is the internet - somehow actually acquired some manners ;-)
I was once part of an online chatboard called cointalk, that periodically rewarded people with micro payments of bitcoins, and people could tip each other too if they wished, much like upvoting does here. That little sense of "reward" in turn resulted in much more constructive talks about everything.
Either way, that's just my two cents, let me know what you think. Does the reward system really encourage much more constructive discussions?
