3 key points that will help you start creating really valuable posts for Steemit community and get a decent reward.

I'm still new to Steemit. But not quite a novice in terms of creating posts. I would like to share with you my understanding of how to create good content. I could be wrong. But I am sure you will not waste your time by reading my thoughts. All of this understanding is the result of my mistakes and lessons I've learned from 3 years of blogging.

Why some books become bestsellers while others languish on the shelves of bookstores? Why is one person the people are willing to listen for hours, and the other is only able to treat insomnia? Why one post in Steemit in a matter of minutes is gaining huge popularity and is widely accepted, and the other goes into oblivion? Are there any regularities in this or is it just a game of chance? Let's try to understand this and answer these questions.

1. The first and the main law of a successful speaker, writer, and artist - be extremely honest with people.

I love the theatre. And a couple of years ago I was trained at drama school with a awsome master. One of the first exercises we did there was to tell stories. At some point I realized, what was the point of this exercise. If you're closed, if not frank - you're not interesting, people are not interested to listen to you. In other words, if you lie, if you don't say what you really feel and what you really think, you will not be able to play on stage. If you lie, people won't listen to you, they won't give you thir attention. So, honesty is the first necessary quality of a good writer, good books, good pictures, good song, good Steem-author.

2. Another important point is the precedent.

We are interested to get in touch with something new. We don't want to spend our time on what we have heard, read before. Only a new idea can "be our food." If we simply retell someone else's thoughts, we also will not be interesting to people. So you should share your own discoveries and realizations.

And to create a new - is creativity. Creativity is always valuable. But the question is - how to create new ideas that will be interesting and useful to people? Is there any methodology or technology? My answer is Yes, there is!

And this technology is simple - you need to look closely at anything. Here, you will need concentration. You need to focus your attention on the theme you have chosen. I also use the word "meditation". You stare and stare, trying to see something new. You must talk, talk about it with yourself or with someone. In the course of this discussion, you will be able to see what you have never seen before.

In other words, before you write a post on some topic, talk about it with a friend or with yourself.

How to talk to yourself? Ask questions.

Questions - this is important. To see something new, to understand something new, you need to ask questions. And in fact, it does not matter who you ask your questions - to yourself or to a friend. Most importantly, you ask to your subconscious, which is connected with the whole universe. Therefore, actually, you ask the universe.

And it is important for you to hear the answers that come to your mind from the inside. The answers are always there. This may sound like some kind of magic, as something incredible, but it's true. Learn to ask questions. The answers will always come. Actually, the problem is not the answers, the problem is in questions. What is the question - is the answer. If you have created a fantastic question - you will get amazing answer. If your question is stupid - so is the answer. Therefore, the creation of books, pictures or post in Steemit - is primarily a creation of the good question. This is important.

3. The third item is error.

We all tend to make mistakes. And we think that mistakes are bad. But it's not. Mistakes are good! Because mistakes make us better if we learn from them. What does it mean to learn? This means to learn something new! New - a keyword here! Remember, all we are interested in new. All wondering about precedents. But mistakes are real "fuel" for precedents. If you have accumulated a lot of life mistakes, you have a lot of "fuel" for interesting posts.

But it is very important to understand that people are interested not just your mistakes, but the lessons you learned from them.

And it's awesome! Look! We all make mistakes, there is no such person who never made a mistake in his life. Therefore, all you need for a good post is to recall your mistakes, learn from them and openly share your insights with others. Frankly admit your mistake. Openly to tell about it. And frankly tell about the lessons you learned.

So I do. My previous 2 posts were quite warmly received by the community Steemit. And I received a generous reward - 1284$ and 491$. Let me show you that this wasn't an accident. Although, of course, luck has also played a significant role. But still, it was not pure luck.

The first post was called: "Today I realized in what aspect Steemit is better than Bitcoin & Ethereum". What are the questions I asked myself before writing this post? Trying to understand how the Steemit works, I have read various articles about it. And I asked myself: "What can give me this Steemit that does not give Bitcoin or Ethereum?" Does it have any unique features? What and how can it help me in life? How can it help others?

Thus thinking about it, I saw some answers. The essence of that entire post is that Steemit is a "village" in which all know each other, but Bitcoin and Ethereum do not provide such opportunities. "Village" means you have a lot of friends and acquaintances who are willing to do business with you and help you in difficult times. And this feature is amazing.

What is new and original I said in this article? Where is the precedent? And here it is - "Steemit is a village". That's the seed of this article. This is the main idea. And this idea I have not seen before.

My second post was called "Why Steemit is the best system of crowdfunding ever created. And how it turns the Internet into the family". I have not heard that someone ever said that Steemit is a system of crowdfunding. Maybe I was just poorly informed. However, this idea I have come as a result of "meditation". That is, I was asking myself questions and carefully considered Steemit. I wondered about the origins of money in Steemit. I asked the question: "What happens in fact, when people vote for a post? And why is the article describing any social projects get so much money?"

I asked myself these questions and listening to the answers that came from within.

So was the internal dialogue. The result of this dialogue came to me as interesting answers. I clearly saw it - crowdfunding. Therefore, the money is given not so much for the interesting and entertaining information, as for ideas of community projects. But the money given as a gift! It's not a bank loan. And the money as a gift we usually receive from our loved ones, from family. Means "Steemit is family." But Steemit gradually spread to the whole Internet, obviously. After all, social networks already did that. And Steemit - much better than them, because here you get cash reward. Therefore, Steemit able to defeat Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social networks and to take over the Internet. Steemit has already been gradually winning in this race of social networking. So Steemit turns the Internet into a family where you can get a gift in the form of money. That's it.

This is my analysis of the success of my two previous posts. As you can see, there is a technology or rather the methodology of creating successful content. I don't consider myself an expert in this field. But I understood something. And it is a pleasure to share our discoveries with you.

Now Steemit was just over 40,000 people.

You can watch it here - https://steemd.com/distribution. Consider that you stay in the camp for writers where 40000 people. Think about what you can openly share with them? Imagine that there is a stage and you are invited to come to this stage. In the audience of 40,000 people. What would you tell them? Where would you start? If you can give them something of value? If you can remain open and honest? Will you be able to tell them about your terrible life mistakes and valuable lessons that changed your life for the better?

Try to answer these questions.

Try to imagine it. Try it and you will find yourself with very valuable ideas. You'll see what's worth sharing. And you will better understand yourself. And even if you don't get paid for it thousands of dollars and dozens of rave reviews, it's worth it.

Who am I? What are my life lessons? What I dream and where I'm going? What Steemit can give me? What can I give to the community? How I want to spend the money? What I did wrong? How can I correct the mistake and never repeat it ever?

Ask. Answer. Meditate. Go inside and you'll discover priceless things that will be interesting and useful for the world of Steemit.

With love and gratitude for you all,
Fedor.
