Owing to health issues and lack of motivation I haven't been very active here for a while. I'm thinking of getting started again. I'm still lacking motivation part a little though my health has gotten a little better. I'm not focused on earning from steemit right now. At least, not for the short-term. However, lot of people are and exposure to lot of well thought out posts are very little because not everyone does it out of passion. I have a friend who is into steemit for the long-term. I want to stay motivated like that and just participate as if this is a sort of community.

What do you do to stay motivated?

The tricky bit for me is first getting started in writing the post. Finding a way to express my thoughts. I figure if I have a topic that's stuck in my mind, that bothers me. I can't be the only one pondering... If I am, maybe it's an idea or story that needs to be shared. No story or thought is insignificant it needs to be put out there and maybe it'll inspire someone. Maybe they'll feel the same way and they take that idea into action and maybe one day it'll change the world and maybe you were that seed that started a revolution >=D

That's a good way to think of it. :D

I write every day, I keep in contact with folks here on Steemit and on Discord, I make relationships and try to visit and comment and upvote on the blogs of my friends, but also on other content that I like. I learn every day. There's plenty to do to stay motivated. ;)
