Hello everyone,

I am following steemit platform since 1 years and i always thought that one day i should become a steemer, so finally i decided to apply. Its been around 4 weeks and last week i have been accepted and i would like to say that this is the first social platform that i registered since 6 years. So i hope this will be a great opportunity for me to become a part of this huge and lovely community.

Who am i?

My name is Olgun and i live in cyprus and i am an information systems engineer and also for a while, i am working as a research assistant in a private university and mostly attending to the lab classes to teaching students how to program.

What i planning to do?

As i explained before, I always wanted to join this lovely community but after starting to work in a university i realized that most of the students does not using internet to learn or gain something new. So as an instructor i thought that we(other instructors or even experienced people) have to teach students or young generation how they can benefit from internet instead of using it for redundant things.

That is why i applied and firstly i will try to get experience about that blockchain and steemit platform then i hope i will be able to share my experience with my students.
