Babies that are now Teenagers!

This was the first time that we saw these wild ducks at the dam. She had 7 but 4 were killed by predators.

At first we thought the Meerkats killed the babies but a farmhand told us that it was other wild animals.

And look at them now! Almost all grown up!

Such a good feeling, as we fed them since the beginning and we prayed and worried that they would be safe. Soon they will fly and disappear into the wild, but we know that they have life.

Children at the Child Care Centers that The Papillon Foundation helped since 2002 are now in their 20s and occasionally we bump into some of them. It is so interesting to listen to their stories and their hopes for the future. Thankfully they have jobs and they are continuing with their studies.

Just as we fed the little ducks when they were tiny, so were these children also educated when they were small.
They were taught that one of the most important aspects of life is to READ.

Thanks Stephen and Marian for all you do.
God bless you both.

@healthiswealth, and may our Lord's blessings also be with you!

They are so funny, kind of clumsy when they are in their teens. And so cute when small. We were babysitting a few day´s old ducklings the past 5 days and how they grow each day. It´s amazing!
Nice post :)

Yup! And it's also nice to see how they ape their parents by flapping their little wings when they step on land! Cute little things! Blessings! Stephen

Awww! It's always rewarding to give the little ones a boost as they grow!

So true! It makes one feel good to help them!
