I've not been here for so long, but there is something that has come to my notice. The way most minnows approach steemit. Yeah, I know most of us are just here for the money (sbd). But selling it off immediately it is gotten isn't the way it ought to be. We should not just live for now, but live for the future.
I saw an account today that has been active for almost 3 months now, with very little steem power and zero sbd. Since I noticed that the person has been earning, I decided to check transfer history. This was when I noticed that all the Earnings are usually sold.
Your steem backed dollars (sbd) can be converted to steem power which would enable you have influence on this platform. Also it should be known that your steem power also determines to some extent how smooth your steemit journey would be. It helps attract followers, which still leads to more upvotes.
In terms of investment, we also know that the value of steem would not remain constant, as it is bound to rise. When others would be selling at a much higher and better price, where would you be.
Now I'm not just saying that you shouldn't sell, what I'm trying to say is don't sell off all. Keep some for the rainy days and also invest in steem. Power up your steem to steem power.
