5 lessons I've learnt in my One Month on Steemit!

So this week i celebrated my first month on steemit and to be frank with you all, steemit is the best thing to happen to me this year apart from God and life.

Here are 5 lessons I've picked from my first month on steemit

1. Steemit is not a get rich quick scheme.
   Steemit was not built to just make you rich quickly. It was built to test your value adding abilities. Your purpose on steemit is to add value to the life of others.

2. Just hold on.
   The payouts may not look like whats on the front page now, just hold on and be strong. It wont be long, its gonna bw alright.
   Keep posting, keep commenting!!

3. Don't go around chasing upvotes.
   Seek ye first a good post and the value of others and every other good upvotes will be added to you. I've noticed that the persons with high upvotes are either training, building or promoting the community or other great courses.

4. Don't hit and run.
   Most people just want to hit it big and run out. Steemit is a community of persons helping each other. Don't expect to come, reap and go away. Comment and upvote other peoples posts.

5. Steemit does nor owe you any money.
   Steemit does not owe you any dollars. The community is what pays you for your creativity. Don't feel the need to get paid after you've churned out a great content. If the money good, if it doesn't, next.
