You'll find lots of posts that have copyright material here unfortunately. Not only that there are impersonators and plagiarists. You'll find there are several people working behind the scenes to discourage this behavior.

While the blockchain is forever there are things that can be done to prevent the content from being prominently displayed. You'll find greyed out posts and comments. Those are from users with a bad reputation or a post that has been flagged to many times.

Today's trending page has a greyed out post with 60+ flags due to posting photos that were not her own or free to use.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
