Nice article @diamonrich, indeed marriage is sweet but we must understand its purpose, for when the purpose of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable. So what is the purpose of marriage? Gen. 2:18 Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him. You must understand the word helper, It means whenever helper is needed there is work to do. Now as a young man looking forward to a great marriage, you must first have a purpose you want to accomplish in life for is that purpose that you will need an helper to help you with. Also in other to make the right choice your purpose is what will also guilde you in chosen the right partner, for instance as a young man having the purpose of going into full time ministry, will he be looking for lady who is not interested with spiritual aspect of life? the answer is no, so what guide you into relationship is not outward appearance or money but purpose. Young men go for purpose and right partner will come.
