India tour of Australia, T20 first match held in Brisbane on 21st of November. Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and opt to field. Australian skipper Aaron Finch come to crease along with his colleague D'Arcy Short. First ball came from Jusprit Bumrah. After playing few overs, kangaroo's marked 24 runs. On the very first ball of 4th over by Khaleel Ahmed ,D'Arcy Short give a lollipop in Kuldeep Yadav's hands. Then Chris Lynn came to crease. Finch and Lynn then giving a boost to team by making a partnership of 40 runs. When score was at 64 runs. Kuldeep came to attack and on the 3 ball of 9th over Finch gave his wicket in hands of Khaleel Ahmed.

Glenn Maxwell came to crease, after playing a couple of overs, Australia falls their 3rd wicket as Chris Lynn. Chris Lynn with his stunning 37 runs along with 4 sixes and 1 four in just 20 balls gave a nice boost to Kangaroo's team. After Chris , Australian all-rounder Markus Stoins came to crease along with all-rounder Maxwell. Maxwell's stunning batting gives a big boost to Australia along with Stoins who scored 33 runs in just 19 balls with 1 six and 4 fours, also remained not-out. Maxwell smashed 3 huge sixes in a single over of Kunal Pandya which led Pandya in trouble.

Rain started falling when 16th over begins. First ball of the over was thrown and then play has been stooped due to rain. Pitch was covered by covers and rain is still falling. After few minutes of break, when rains topped falling, players come to field and started again. Due to the rain match has been reduced to only 17 overs which means Australia has to face only 5 more balls from now. Team score was at 153 with 8 wickets in hand. Bumrah again came to mark and his very 2nd ball of over, Maxwell gave an easy catch in hands of Buvineshwar Kumar. Stunning performance of Maxwell marked 46 runs in just 24 balls along with 4 sixes which gave a team well boost.

Ben McDermott came to crease and only 4 balls are now left. Ben faced 3 balls and scored 2 runs. Now the first inning has been finished in which Australia scored 158 runs with the loss of 4 wickets. Stoins scored 33 runs and Maxwell scored 46 runs. Both marked a good partnership for team. Kunal Pandey being most expensive gave 55 runs in just 4 overs.

Due to D/L method, India had to face now 17 overs in which they had to chase a good target of 174 runs. India had to play now their best batting to win over Kangaroo's. They had the best T20 players in form of Rohit and Shekhar.

Indian batting started with Rohit Sharma and Shekhar Dhawan as opening batsman's. At early Shekhar Dhawan started playing hard and well being successful to play. While on the other hand Hitman Sharma was not hitting such hard shots as he was playing. Hitman Sharma wants to put himself from trouble and started playing hard but unfortunately on the very first ball of 5th over he didn't connect ball timely and gave an easy cath to Australian skipper Finch. Sharma didn't played well as he only scored 7 runs of just 8 balls. Then Rahul came to play along with angry Shekhar who had scored 24 runs at that time. Dhawan now played hard again and completed his half century in just 28 balls. After that Australian bowlers attacked to Indian batsman's and took Rahul's wicket at 82 runs. Rahul didn't scored much better as scored only 13 runs and gave his wicket as stumped by Carey on the 3rd ball of Zampa.

Now Indian skipper came on 4th number, well he started playing his techniques but his techniques didn't remained for such long time. He also gave his wicket to Zampa on the last ball of 10th over. He also didn't scored good for his team. Scored only 4 runs in just 8 balls. After skipper Rishab Pant came to fave Australian's along with angry Shekhar. Shekhar played again such angry shots and gave his wicket in hands of Beherendorff on the 5th ball of 12th over of Stanlake.

Karthik now came to crease along with Rishab Pant. Both wicket-keepers now marked good partnership for their team. They led their team to 154 runs in 15.4 overs. Now India was near to their win. Andrew Tye came to attack to bowl 16th over of the inning, on the 3rd ball of that over Rishab Pant wants to play such big shots but didn't connect ball well and gave a catch to Beherendorff, team score was at 156 with the loss of 5 wickets.

Only 9 balls were left and Krunal Pandya came to crease, after facing some balls , Dinesh Karthik wants to now play hard and his misstimed the ball and gave an easy catch in hands of Beherendorff on the 3rd ball of 17th over of all-rounder Markus Stoins. On the very next ball Pandya also gave his wicket to hands of Maxwell. Buvineshwar now at strike, team need 11 runs in 2 balls. Stoins bowled wide and india need 10 runs to win. Buvineshwar didn't hit hard on the next ball and gave an easy single to Kuldeep Yadav. On the last ball of inning, Yadav smashed an easy four to Stoins.

Australia won the match by 4 runs. Australia targeting India as 174 runs by to D/L method to due to rain. India didn't chased down the target set by Australia. Adam Zampa was given as Man of the Match who took 2 wickets and gave only 22 runs in his 4 over spell.
