    Steemit Inc. has to manually approve all accounts created on steemit.com. It seems they always wait a week or two before they clear the whole list of new accounts. Hence the huge spikes in the chart.

      It's sad that there is such a strong correlation between the price of Steem and the activity on the platform. Hopefully the price will shoot back up, which should increase activity.

      I'm still getting good activity on my posts. We have to encourage people to keep posting and commenting. Even if they don't make much it can be fun. We've seen lower stem price and it recovered. It's up to us to make steemit work for all

        Our depends on whether you feel you get value for your time here and what future you feel steem may have. I kept posting when it was 6c and did well from it. I enjoy the discussions here. Otherwise I would be on a site that pays nothing. I don't buy votes and that may be even less profitable now.

          I agree with most of what you said...

          For me this pays.. but very little...on other platforms I get similar value but in terms of branding.. as I have more traffic there.. like say my Instagram has more than 40,000 followers..

          Every photo I post there has tremendous reach...that branding I could monetise later.

          Here there are so few people and mostly crypto guys or bots..

          And very few people from my city or country.

          I get tired talking to walls here.

            I have nothing to sell, but I've built connections here. I can get more feedback than anywhere else. I hope Steemit can build to millions of users. Then Instagram will have competition. I don't think any other service has the potential to pay smaller players as well as Steem. I never made a cent from YouTube
