No surprises the bots making the most comments. They are getting worse imo. More and more bots making fairly useless comments alot of the time and clogging up the blockchain

Steem team should come up some plan to control bots .. else steem will become a bot platform !

Yeah, I agree with you. If this situation continues to be allowed, this platform will not be stable. this is a social media platform that should be controlled by a human not a bot.

I totally agree with you on that. Steem is called "proof of brain" right? So why the hell are bots on here anyway? They have no brain.

Where is @mughat and @inertia when you need them? The Bots add value... steem is just so small that you dont see that yet, also after resource credits (ontop of vote power ontop of steempower) we will have no more situations where 1 spammer with 7 SP takes up 90% of the networks bandwidth, but bandwitdh on steem can never run out, its anti fragile, the more users the stronger it gets now, (after hf20) and remember, after resource credits, you will have to actually buy and use up STEEM RAM tokens just like EOS ram! You will get some free resource credits just by having steempower and vote power but if they open a market for them, now if you are a spammer youll have to buy these resource tokens in order to spam the network... which no spammer will do because now it isnt FREE to make UNLIMITED posts and comments!
The Bots will then become a very cool part of steem more so than they are now when the HUMAN activity is #1 and bot activity is just teh same on other social networks... Human activity is the main driver here, CPus can never keep up with human braions and the cost fo a human is way cheaper than producing an AI robot so yeah humans will end up as the main driver of data for a while man
Human interactions on steem are still the main bulk of steem activity, and the bot activity will become diluted as more people join steem!
We will see some incredibly useful bots that HELP U SO MUCH YOULL REALIZE THE BIGGER PICTURE HERE
AFTER hf20 @NED IS GOING TO CHANGE THE WORLD woops caps lol :D ill leave em for dramatic effect though :D
Just expect HF20 i dunno november?
And SMTs i dunno New years or spring 2019? The SMts and communities ar finished just need testing
I believce HF20 then communities will happen, like HF20 august and Communities in nov

You can't convince people to are economically illiterate that bots add value. They have no idea that a good bot implementation requires it being staked. If there are 100,000 bots, and they're all staked with 100 SP each, that's a million SP, just to run them. It's a great way to lock up vesting shares.
And you're right, that's without SMTs.
But try to explain this clear benefit to the average "i hate bots" user.

If it is about earning more steem....you can invest in steem and be the winner of the race. If you consider it as race.....race happens when everyone is competing with each other..and i do not see any competition here...if you are good at community builder you are on top ....

most of top ranking guys are either running a bot service or selling votes on smart steem or MB or must have delegated their SP for such bots or either running their own discord for self promotion..
where is community development here...?

So Steem turns into a platform where "the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer"?
Steem and the whole blockchain idea are about fairness and trust. If we continue to let people invest large amounts of money getting bot votes to upvote their mid quality post, then there is no fairness to the SteemIT platform. It's about who has the most to invest in to reach the trending pages.
To me that doesn't seem like a fair network. That's not what I want to see in a block chain.

Have you ever been part to any community??
Btw...bots never gurantee you best rewards, many bots are on tye platform as they are in business mode...offering best return, but the case never been so. They never been in any kind of race....race happen when people try to beat or topple someone....but here those who have invested on steem are making use of their money.......that what i said...if you have enough invest on steem and be the topper.....be a part of community and get your presence felt. In case you presence is enough you wil get rewarded for yoyr content

Last part make sense more! but I still don't agree with competing part as if ppl are not competing then what the need to "ppl buying fake votes and making sure they should be ahead of other content no matter the quality of it"
same applies to my 2nd point "many ppl running discord channels and using the same for promoting their own content as well running a business out of it, doesn't matter if the content being promoted is worth up to quality or not."

if this keeps up, someone is just going to create another platform just like steemit and remove the bot part and start over then steemit will crash and steem will be worthless. People don't want to make the top bots rich while they get stuck with crumbs. At least that's what I'm seeing.
