We have another new record: 30,000 daily active Steem users!

Although the daily number of posts and comments has not really been growing recently, the number of active users continues to grow steadily. On average, about 1,400 new users sign up every day. Thanks to these new users, the number of active users surpassed 30,000 for the first time yesterday!

I count an account as active if it has made at least one transaction on the Steem blockchain on that particular day. This transaction can be a post, comment, vote, transfer, sbd conversion or power up/down. I exclude only the account creation itself from my calculation. The creation of an account is always its first transaction, but I count the account only as active if it made at least one other transaction after its birth.

All data comes directly from the Steem blockchain and is based on UTC time.
