STOP LEARNING AND START DYING

Is it just me? Or do you also think that the evolution of knowledge in specific areas and fields is growing at a mind blowing rate.

I remember them in the university, 2nd year to be precise. One of the lab tutors handed us manuals for practical class in the lab and for the sake of curiosity, we scanned through the manual and then I saw the year written on the manual, it was 1987. I shouted and called the attention of my colleagues to it. Well, you were a student once, so you know how students react to such things. There were grumblings and murmurings that no one could be firm enough to say what was wrong. The tutor came in and somehow, someone called his attention to it. He answered and said the year on it wasn't relevant and that the manual is still very relevant even in this age, which was 2008. So many of us didn't want to accept the credibility of that information and went ahead to look out for the same experiment and how it's done in other schools especially schools that are outside of nigeria.

To our surprise, the manual was just as obsolete as the year on it had stated. I strongly admitted that the real reason for the backwardness in our educational system in Nigeria basically is due to the unchanging of fixed nature of our teachers who wouldn't want to upgrade their library, which can be because of several reasons which includes laziness, low taste or no-research mindset amongst other things.

Knowledge is how much you know

You don't know that you don't know until you can see what others know. Everytime we think we have arrived based on the level of information that we have, someone somewhere only started from what we have called out peak.

Information is power they say

I believe what this statement insinuates is that you are either made or marred by the level of information you have.

Learning is just a major recipe in life and it's the greatest gift to us all. One sweet and interesting thing about being on steemit is that there is so much to learn.

People will hire you because of your level of exposure in that area and how well you can use the information you have at hand.

Good to know that you know so much already.

My advice: Don't stop learning because you are not even there yet

Think about something you don't know anything about today and learn about it or something you know but alot of improvements have been made.

You don't know how backward or upgraded you are until you can see the latest on that topic.

Learning is key, the key to knowledge, which eventually is the key to wealth.

Don't stop learning.... The day you stop learning, you start dying.
