Grandma Kicks Ass & Takes Names

@pierce-the-veil: Gun Control Advocates across California can now eat shit, formally, and on the record.

Good Morning Steemit,  I do a lot of researching and cross-referencing into various events and topics when I cant sleep.

As I quietly browsed the internet this morning, I discovered quite possibly the best real life example of Responsible Gun Ownership checkmating Criminal Activity. And what a gem of a story too.

Does anyone remember the good old days when your father, uncle, or grandpa took you out to a field or the backyard and taught you how to shoot a gun?

I can still feel the weight of my first bb gun as I proudly hoisted it and proceeded to plink cans for hours on end. Then, on about the day of picking vegetables, skipping rocks on a lake, and crafting. God I loved doing homesteading activities.

I can only imagine how much better my shooting would be if I had this Badass Grandma as a blood relative.

FUCK YEAH.

Best part of the entire article is, when reporters asked if she was "scared" of retaliation for her actions, and her response was priceless.

This Totally Blows holes in statist theory that "Police" are a necessary requirement for a well-ordered society.  Evidence suggesting otherwise can be found herehttps://www.dollarvigilante.com/blog/2013/05/21/how-private-policing-trumps-government-law-enforcement.html

In conclusion, Today I breathe a little sigh of relief knowing there are still some tough old bastards left on this planet, who really know what self-reliance, self-determination, and responsible freedom truly mean.

And while they may not be crypto savvy for the most part, they generally know when to get shit done, how to survive, and how to do it right.

I respect that. Let's set a similar self-determinative precedent here on STEEMIT. No room for herds, and "in crowds".

Today's generation? Not so much unfortunately.

Have a great day STEEMIT!

I trust you enjoyed reading this and, I can only hope that we will all grow to be old, crotchety anarchists ready to pop off when the shit goes down.

Grandma's quote from( the linked article ):

“There was ten of twelve of these scumbags, firing with Uzis and shotguns at these two poor officers who had only pistols, so I really had to do something,” she says. “I got my vest and gun, a few extra clips of ammo, and I went out the house. As soon as I began shooting at them, the look on these thugs’ face changed and they began to run for their lives. The policemen also seemed really surprised to see me, but they were definitely relieved when they saw I was there to help them.”

This completely highlights what I've been saying for as long as I can remember: Good people on ANY side of the spectrum are just that: GOOD PEOPLE! Taking away guns from good people makes the situation worse and ultimately makes the good people who are on law enforcement more prone to danger!! >:-(

Regulation, governance, and agreements themselves need to come from within first - it must originate locally and then be ran locally... To do anything less is to allow "big brother" oversight and control - something that comes with a hefty price that I personally am unwilling to pay.

YESSS! I left that as a suprise in the post because it was so hilarious and true.

What a badass. Punk Kids these days? eH?

My grandma was Amish. None of them have guns or any use for one except in some sects to hunt. How do they do that, survive without guns? I'm not for or against guns. I'm for peace and communal living. It's really sad that we, as a species, have to protect ourselves from one another.

Very True! Amish are a respectable production force, supported by an established set of moral values!
