MAKE-A-WHALE | Relaunch!

I do have another question actually. Do you know some friendly whales? I would like to ask them what they want so that I can create posts that appeal to them.

That is a hard question, they key is to keep posting quality content. That's the only way you will get attention from other users. Some people spend hours on one post. Short flashy posts don't always make too much unless you are already friends with a whale. Take your time and write a long thought out post.

Yeah, that was pretty good! Keep em up and maybe find a niche. Write about the things you enjoy. If you enjoy it, so will your followers. Consistency is key. =)

Thanks. Have a wonderful day!

Thanks man! You too!

Its 9 am here in South Africa, I'm at a coffee shop starting work as a freelancer. Beautiful smell of coffee. Starbucks just arrived in South Africa but this place has way better coffee than Starbucks.

I am curious how much is a cup of Starbucks coffee in rands?

What place is better? Local place?

Dis Vrydag! Yes!

OK, I am seriously impressed.I can't believe you just typed a couple words in Afrikaans. That is so cool and you even know our currency.

Starbucks is cheap if you convert it to dollars I think. Let's see, a grande (medium) caramel frappucino is around 40 rand, which is about 2.70 in USD. Now I have no idea what they cost in the US but I suspect it might be more than that.

One of my friends from Ghana who lives here really likes the Reserve coffees at Starbucsk. They are like literally double the price but supposed to be better beans. The normal beans are really not that good at all. I am a gold rewards member so at least I get a little better quality at the normal price. Usually those beans are R3 more per cup or shot not sure which.

But the Reserve ones... crazy. I told the barista I want a tall cap and whatever my friend usually has - he is there a lot too - and the bill was like R96. But I don't care because he is my friend and gives my great advice always about lots of things. He actuallly imports Shea butter from Ghana to South Africa.

But I prefer this place called Seattle Coffee Company. The coffee is unbelievable and the environment is more conducive to work or study. Quieter. But I still have to use earphones to stop myself from listening in on other people's conversations. It is joined to a bookstore like Barnes and Noble, called Exclusive Books.

Where are you from?
