¡Something weird is happening here lately!
For me this has been pretty easy to pinpoint. Since my poor upvote at full 100% of my VP scarcely gives $0.02 cents only. But probably yours gives a lot more and you didn't notice this anomaly yet for always be playing with that kinky slider.
Since about two weeks ago I've been noticing that if I upvote my own posts when I have my voting power completely recharged at 100% of my VP, of the two cents ($0.02) that would grant my upvote, each time I only get half of that ($0.01) on my own posts.
Yeah! we could say always when we self upvote our own crap.
But curiously, if the first upvote that I cast when I have my VP at 100% is given to someone else (posts and comments) it grants the full ca$h weight. In my case, my smoking $0.02 cents.
¿Have you noticed if this happens to you too?
Because if this is a new algorithm or rule established or to be established by the powers that be on the steem blockchain. I don't recall reading anything about it. And take in account that I read a helluva of stuff here. So, ¿What about you? ¿Did you noticed the same?
