Abstract:
Although there is a set system to rate women in a 1-10 scale it lacks objectivity. It also tells you nothing about the kind person she might be or her past. What if the rating system could incorporate other factors. There can be various questionnaires that can include IQ and/or a personality questionnaire. With more data you can do more, what if you had the record of their parents, their socioeconomic background even race? Again this way to rate women is much more deep and unethical. Even though it is impossible to implement in any kind of dating service it's a good thought experiment.
Requirement of Female:
IQ test
EQ test
Personality test
Tax returns
Transcripts
Resume/CV
The unethical requirements:
Parents divorce information
Parental tax returns during the time where she was young
Test on psychological abuse and sexual abuse
Reading results:
Ideally both the men and women would takes this test. Each person would be given a rating on each weighed category. All tests would then be put into a huge database that sets a standard. For example the IQ standard set by the database might be 100. The male scores 120 and the female scores 115. Then the male would get 20 score and the female would get 15 score. There might be a max which would be lets say 30 since 130 is a very high IQ. So the male would get %66.66 and the female would get %50.00. The EQ test would undergo the same process as IQ.
The personality test might be a little difficult to quantify . Based on the results of each person, if they are the same they it would be 100% if they are different then it would get 0. So depending on the variation it may influence the percentage.
Tax returns would need to be standardized based on location. A 0 would be below the average and 100% would be based on the top 1% of that location.
Transcripts from college would be based on the major GPA percentile based on type of major. Why major? Well it could be the case that someone might have a GPA of 4.0 on liberal arts where the other person could also have a 4.0 but in Physics. The major percentile would insure that the GPA is not inflated by the easier major. If both the male and female do not attend college then it can be ignored. For other types of education a measure can be created that rates performance as well.
The Resume/CV can be based on a Rating system from top employers. This is the least objective of the bunch since someone can pay to get them written. Moreover, the resume/cv shows current accomplishments thus it was not omitted.
Now Here is where I'll get some hate: The three last requirements
I read a couple peered reviewed scientific articles on child abuse and emotional abuse. The effects of this kind of abuse follows to adulthood. There is a plethora of different manifestations that can be both bad or good. For example there was a statistic article that showed that adults who were abused as a child tend be more immature, overly sexually active, un-affectionate etc. To play devils advocate an interpretation of the results is that there is a much higher chance of taking a women home from a bar if he or she was abused as child. While it may be unethical to exploit such result there is no non-invasive way to assure that someone was sexually or emotionally abused. The divorce paper can give insight into alienation from parental care which can be emotional abuse and the tax papers can show the a projection of future income. Although it can be noted that is also very heavily influenced by education level.
Example Results:
IQ test- 60
EQ test- 70
Personality test- 50
Tax returns- 70
Transcripts - 80
Resume/CV- 90
Unethical results: +/-5
Some problems of my Proposal:
There needs to be a more objective way to properly weigh each of the categories maybe through a questionnaire. For example, I would care about more about the EQ and IQ results than the Unethical results and Tax returns. While most women would care about the Tax Returns and IQ. There also other problems such as what if their is a really dumb man with an IQ lower than 100 does he get negative points? What happens if a female does not attend college is that just 0?
My opinions:
Objectifying woman is thought to only affect looks, with my proposal men can objectify women at a deep psychological level. While this article is meant to be satire, there is a lot of truth to my claims. Physical attractiveness can be added as another variable but again that is subjective. It could be the case that sex alone can run a relationship but it seems that my proposed rating system is much more long lasting. Most men would have sex with anything with a nice pair of boobs and ass however, tits and ass get old. (That was double meaning pun). In the old superficial rating all attractive women would be nice partners for short (1-4) year relationships. Women acquired though this means (as objects) would be rendered useless by my rating system. It's a good thing that there is no such rating system because a perfect score would be impossible.
I wrote this relatively quick hopefully I didn't make too many mistakes.Picture Source: https://dallico.tumblr.com/post/146493478161
